That must be the definite cover. Way better than the working ones indeed!

There is a video from Joanna where she speaks about the new book on youtube:

I'm sorry, I still haven't learned how to include a video in a post here

Indeed! I cannot wait to get my hands on that book. I wish I could buy a whole stock so it could go straight up at the top of the best-seller list. Does anyone know if Jo will record an audio version of her memoir? Also, she mentions that she's rehearsing for a play in London; do you know what she was referring to?

First, welcome back!
Well, I am not sure about the audio version, too, a while ago, Amazon listed it also as Ebook but it's not listed as that anymore, not even on the Orion Books page.
About the play in London, Joanna will do "The Lion in Winter" from 4 November 2011 – 28 January 2012. You can take a look here: The lion in winter

Actually, it is listed on their website: http://www.orionbooks.co.uk/books/absolutely-ebook
I truly hope we'll have the CD format.
Thanks for the info about the play -- that's very exciting news! :squee:

Ha, I must have mixed it up with Amazon listings then. I knew I read it somewhere. I'm just not sure if ebook will mean that you need an ebook reader for that or if it would be like an audio CD.

I believe you need a Kindle or something of the sort to read an ebook. Besides, had it been an audio CD, it would have been more expensive than that, I think. CDs usually cost more than hardcovers.

I admitt, I didn't look at the price, would it be a CD I would pay nearly ANY price :lmao: but since the book seems to be more a "photographic memory" with lot's of photos, it sure would be hard to make an audio book out of it.

well, I don't give a *beep* of what he's writing. I mean what DOES he want? Shall she lament about bringing up her boy alone? I think the people who do buy her book now that every single parents has to struggle with something like that and that's nothing to be pointed out for pages and pages...
Gee, those kind of reviewer really get on my nerves
But maybe it's just me, not understanding what this guy is writing about. Sorry. Must be the fact that English is not my mother-toungue :hypnose:

I'm a bit confused to be honest--the review sounds very positive to me. The reviewer's point seems to be that she hasn't written one of those doom and gloom memoirs where the author goes on about all the terrible things that happened to him, and how terrible it was to live through it all--the kind, the author says, that publishers love. Instead, Joanna took the "things happen, you deal with them, move on, keep smiling" approach, and in the last line of the review, the writer seems to think it's a refreshing take. He/she doesn't want Joanna to moan about everything that's happened--they like it better that she didn't. Maybe it's just me, but I think the reviewer is meaning it as a positive review.

Re: New Book Coming this Autumn!

Well, you might be right here (hopefully) as I said, sometimes I get a different meaning out of something when it's written in English (and my school English is about 30 years old now and was never good), so maybe they should just write in German, so that I will understand it correctly! :lmao:
Maybe I should delete that posting.... :zip:
