I use Photofiltre and Photofiltre Studio: the first is free - the second isn't, but I've found a code to crack the trial version. I've also got PhotoShop installed on my laptop, but I never use it: I just can not work with it while with PF, I pretty much know how to do all the basics.
I'm glad you like my new signature. I did the blend ages ago, but I just couldn't find the right font type and colour to finish it.

Maartje wrote:Hm, web design you do? I must look up that programme some day too...
Neary every hit Google gives you when you type in 'PhotoFiltre' is quite Ok, but I think I got my version from this page: it's available in a couple of languages, but I guess you won't probably need those.
Anyway - if you want to learn how to blend images (like I did with my signature) you'll need PhotoFiltre Studio. Don't pay for it: just download the free trial version, and I'll look up the codex to crack it. (I'm pretty sure I've still got it somewhere...)
And tutorials... Hm, I've never actually used those: I've always just experimented some stuff, but I see if I can find some good ones for you.. I guess this one has some good starters, but if you're really looking for the better stuff, try Youtube. That's probably most helpful.
And yes, I sort of dived into your Photobucket account, and 'borrowed' a couple of your scans.I love making signatures/avatars for TNA, but it's quite hard since most pictures you'll find on the net are either in B/W or in very bad quality unfortunately...
But right now I'm most proud of my new Jennifer banners. I've used a couple of pictures from the BAFTAs last week, and she looks so absolutely stunning...

Maartje wrote:Woh, website design, that sounds interesting! I know absolutely nothing about HTML, but I somehow do regret that because a few people I know make the most fabulous things using that script... Anyway - if you can manage that, then I'm sure you'll be able to deal with PhotoFiltre, haha. I'll try to find the right codex for you tonight... *cross fingers I've still got it*
Anyway - because I change my signature so often, here's the Gambit/Purdey one we talked about:

Maartje wrote:Wow, that is great! You've been teasing us so much with the idea of your web page with all (New) Avengers related stuff, I can't wait, haha! Good luck on making it, and please let us know when you've finished it!
I'm glad you like the signature. It was originally meant as an entry for the TNA art contest, but I never finished it. I prefer the Joanna related signatures on the forum though, so feel free to use it if you like some time.

Haha, I'm affraid that's not gonna work: the original picture is far to small to make a good wallpaper out of it... I could try something with the HQ Joanna pictures though, but I'm trying to focus more on the avatars and banners right now.
I'm glad you like my knew one: to be honest, I quite regret the text I used: ''English Rose'' would have been so much nicer, but I'm not sure if I'm able to recreate the blend once more...

Maartje wrote:Haha, darling, that's Ok. I'm gonna write you an explanation, but you must give me some time to typ it all out..![]()
I usually blend two similar pictures (examples are the first banners I've posted) but I now I'm experimenting a lot with textures, which is quite nice too.
I'm gonna work on some tutorial for you - cross fingers I'm not too bad at explaning...
Ong, plong, kerplinky, plong. Ong, plong, kerplinky, plong.

Maartje wrote:Haha, it's Ok sweetie. The tutorials on Youtube are quite Ok, but I think it might be more helpful to work it all out in screencaps.. It's the very least I can do after all the lovely fanfic you've shared with us.
