Is it me, or does Gareth's head look 'stuck on' his tracksuit? Like a bit of bad photoshop -

The white suit is an improvement - it's similar to something Pat wore as Steed. Safari suits I think they were called. I wanted one when I was a kid, but I'm glad I never had one in the end - especially as the colour was a sky blue - help!

Yes! I think it looks photoshopped, too--cut and paste his head on someone else's body. It looks so wrong you'd think it was photoshopped. Y'know, if Photoshop had existed in 1977.

I like the white suit, too. They were called safari suits. Patrick had a couple, yes--I think one popped up in Small Game for Big Hunters or something. Gambit also had a safari jacket he wore in the series, and also in that season 2 photo shoot:



In neither case is it blue, though--that's just asking for trouble.

I like the turtleneck he's got on under it, as well. Gareth always looked brilliant in white anyway:

Yeah, that would be J. Lo. I'll even confess to the fact that hers was one of the first CDs I bought (and yes, I still have it, along with a couple of others. )

Well, it's not finished yet, and I have a tradition of releasing them on Christmas Eve (this will be the first time someone other than my two beta-readers get to read them first, btw. This year the annual Christmas fic is going out to five people, two of which are you and Philippa. ) But I'll make you a deal--there are still a couple of scenes of "Vignettes" that need to be released before the fic itself, so I could post one of those. How does that sound?

Yes, I heard about that. I have to say that one thing that really bothered me when I watched That Beryl Marston was how ill-suited Julia was to Gareth. She looks like she's way older than him (even though she was only a years older) and not anywhere near, I don't know, glam enough. Too frumpy. Maybe that was the point because of the plotline (he cheats on her), but still, it's really hard to believe the pair of them were high school sweethearts, etc. Some strange casting choices going on there. The show itself was actually getting better near the end. Most shows need time to find their feet, and I think if it had gotten the second season it was supposed to, it would have been even better. As it is, I got some icons out of it. Glad you like them.
