I made a couple of copies, and gave them away to anyone interested.. It was on the Canvas too, couple of weeks ago, I think with Dutch/Belgian subtitles.. I wasn't able to record it, or at least even watch it, but anyway...

I was also really moved in the end - I didn't actually cry, but I do understand why you did so darling..

I really feel like watchin' it now, but I've got too much on at the moment..

I tried to merge a couple of 'em earlier, but that somehow doesn't work for me... I can split, close and all that kind of stuff without problems, but merging is a problem. (we can discuss this by PM maybe? )

Of course everyone's entitled to have his/her own opinion, but this review really annoys me. Not because it's negative one, but the way that it is written doesn't make sense, simply because this writer has no argumentation for her statements:

Joanna Lumley seems to have forgotten how to be Joanna Lumley.

I think Joanna Lumley knows herself knows who she is better than anyone else in the world.

It would have been far better if she'd just lit up a fag, eaten a very tiny chip sandwich, and said, crisply, “How lovely.”

Wake up, she did that for nearly 15 years. (the words 'absolutely' and 'fabulous' might ring a bell here?)

I loved the Nothern Lights' documentary, and that's what counts for me. There's always some critic out there to write a nasty review, or to make some snabby comments, but whatever. I'd love to see HER coping on a trip to the Artic Circle, for instance.

If that women thinks 'hand-cream, poetry and champagne' is all there is to Joanna Lumley, I'd seriously advise her to develop a sense of style and taste.
