I honestly thought I'd be the only one sobbing over that line, it's so sweet. She has always cared about the show and she still does, because she doesn't seem to get tired of telling another nice anecdote or reveal anything about the characters.

I love it how she never gets tired of talking about AbFab, and as Maartje pointed out, she comes up with new anecdotes all the time. It's amazing.

I was thinking about that while watching her bit from the Pride of Britain awards. Think about it...there she was receiving this huge honor for something that had nothing to do with Ab Fab, she was standing on stage with the representatives of the people that she put all this effort into fighting for, she had been surprised with the officer who saved her father's life...it was an epic moment...and yet Patsy was still in her thoughts. I think that says a lot about just how much that character means to her.

I think, in a way, when you've played a character for such a long time, it becomes a part of you. A bit like a 2nd skin. That's quite amazing when you think about it, and it really says something about Joanna's qualities as an actress.

I didn't even think about it that way, but you're probably right. Joanna once said that ''the show saved her life'', and that without it, she would have ended up very poor, haha. She's got talent, so I'm sure someone else would have noticed her, but still... It does mean a lot to her, to all of the cast members I'm sure. I love how she still keeps referring to that character, even though it has been years since the show ended.
