Oh, I loved it when she said that, mostly because it was incredibly sweet of her to mention him and share her award with him, her co-avenger. But I also wonder: how does she know how he looks in a dress? Joanna, have you seen something we haven't? (I'll bet Gareth had awesome legs. )

In that case, I'd like to aks her to share her experiences. The image of Gambit in a dress... kinda reminds me of that fanfic you wrote, about the scottisch kilts, haha.

But yeah, I loved that speech - she's a funny one, and above all, incredibly sweet. It kinda sucked for Patrick though: he's been on the show forever, but the BAFTA went to the girls. Ouch.

Gambit in a dress...I hope it wasn't backless. I think I'd . But if it's a kilt that's different--I find guys in kilts very hot, actually. And judging from what happened in "Kilty Pleasures," I'd say Purdey does, too.

A lot of people have commented on how Patrick never received any accolades for the series, despite the fact that his character was revolutionary for being a man who was willing to play opposite strong women--not every guy would do that, you know. Gareth was just as revolutionary for playing an action man with a soft side and letting Purdey get the better of him. They both deserved more kudos than they got.

My favorite Joanna quote of all time is from The Story of Absolutely Fabulous. At the end, she is talking about how she might have ended up if Ab Fab hadn't come along and she ended with "So the show changed my life...saved my life...I do love it." The way she says it makes me cry every time. I have such an emotional connection with Ab Fab and to hear her express how much it means to her never fails to get to me.
