Yeah, the little studs. She was too tired to keep track of all the changes, so she decided to keep it simple. I agree, they're very practical and Purdeyish. Joanna wanted her to be as no-nonsense as possible, and then they kept giving her high heels to run in.

I absolutely love heels: I've got a few pairs and I wear them whenever I can, but the pain in your feeth after a long day of walking, let alone running... Poor Joanna.

Me too. I just think "ouch ouch ouch." And then she climbs over a fence, and I marvel (as she did) that she didn't break her neck.

About once every three months I put my high heel boots on, and by the end of the day I'm ready to wait another three months to wear them again. I have really bad feet--no arches hardly--and so I can'twalk in them very well. I'm better, but I feel the pain pretty fast. I'm tall anyway, so I tend to be kind of scary in heels, so I got for low boots most of the time. I have a pair of cuban heels I'm quite fond of. I call them my Gambit boots.

Anyway - I do love my heels, the pump-kind of thing, but I'm very well aware of how damaging they are..

I envy both of you. I fear for my life attempting stairs in heels--never know when I might trip and take the quick way down. You must have better feet than I do. But my Gambit boots make up for it. I'm partial to flares, too, so I can pretend I'm in the seventies once in awhile. Maybe I'll run into stoner younger Patsy.

Damn, this is actually the first time I'm saying this concerning Joanna but that looks horrible. It's the kind of fake blonde you get when you try to dye it yourself, which is actually more yellow-like even.
