Class Act

There's more to Joanna than AbFab: here's the place to talk about the other work she has done!

I know, but it's Ok. Technology is a great thing, at least if it all works properly...

Finally, finally, I figured out where all the scans for the presspack went. Saved in a weird spot. I was looking in the wrong folder!

Anyway, this means the full Class Act press pack is now available online! Same link as before. Start at the bottom and work your way up. Enjoy! :d

I just re-watched that episode a few days ago, that scene with the radios is brilliant :lmao:
I want to be Kate Swift when I grow up! (well not really of course, but I wouldn't mind being like her every now and then)

Hi! I'm a big fan of Class Act although I haven't seen the show for years and I was pleasantly surprised to find out there still are people who remember and watch it :)
Anyway, I've been searching for a place on the Internet where I could download the series but I never found one. Does anyone know if the episodes are available for download anywhere? I really want to see the show again.

They are available for download on www.thebox.bz, but you do have to register there.
I wish they'd do a proper DVD release of Class Act, it was such a great series and it deserves that much.

That's great, thank you so much! I'd never heard of that tracker before. I already registered and started downloading the first episode. It's pretty slow but I'll wait as long as necessary :) Thanks again!
And I agree about the DVD. Too bad great shows are often overlooked.

And it's in the media on this particular forum, if you do us a favour, and introduce yourself to us. Welcome by the way.

I looked into that, because I can play Region 1, but the dvds are no longer in stock on Amazon and they go for ridiculous amounts of money now :doubt:

Do they? I can't remember how much mine cost. Guess if it burns and I have to replace it I'll have to get the expensive one, eh?

Thanks, I'll check that too!
Well, I'm from Bulgaria, 26 years old. Unfortunately I haven't seen much of Joanna Lumley's work but I think she's brilliant in Class Act and AbFab (they haven't aired anything else here as far as I know). Actually, unlike most of the other people I first saw her in Class Act in the 90s and watched AbFab for the first time just a couple of years ago. I like both shows very much although they're so different. Now, after I stumbled upon your forum, I'm intrigued by The New Avengers as well.

So funny you saw her in Class Act first. I've only seen that because I wanted to see more of Joanna's less known work, and as far as I know, Class Act has never been shown in the Netherlands (and if it had, I'd be too young to remember it I think)
So like most people my age I know her because of AbFab
And do check out The New Avengers, you won't regret it (can you tell I love this show?)

That's funny indeed, as most people watch her first on AbFab and then decide to watch more of her ''unknown'' work: I'm no exception. Ah well, I suppose we all have our preferences when it comes to the work she has done, that's what happens when you adore someone who has been acting for more than thirty years. I've seen quite a lot of her to be frank, but there's still so much more I haven't seen yet...

Oh nice!
Yeah John Bowe has gotten old since Class Act, but that was 14-15 years ago so it's not very strange. I most recently saw him in Cranford in which he played a doctor.

I thought John Bowe looked pretty good in Cranford, actually. He wasn't young in Class Act, and that was awhile back, so he's allowed to age. I love John, though. I think he really made the series--Jack is the classic underdog. You root for him all the way. I can't wait to see him on Ashes. :hyper:
