They've performed the ever last date tonight - I can't believe it's actually over now! I know they'll continue on working with each other, but it definitely is the end of an era... Farewell French and Saunders!

It's so very sad. Of course I know this isn't the end of their work, they'll have other projects, some together and some by themselves, but no longer as French and Saunders. It's the end of an era

I don't think they'll do an US tour as well - I've read various experiences from forummers who went to the very last show, and they seem pretty fed up with touring. Especially Jennifer has already admited not to be fond of it, as she has to perform the same show every night.

So yes, I've been thinking about the amazing comedy they've brought to us over the years, and I will definitely watch my Still Alive DVD again one of these days. I'll miss them as a double act.

I'm bringing this thread back to live, because it's been exactly one year now since I saw French & Saunders live. I've just watched the tour DVD again, and damn, I wish I could experience it all again.

Wow, I hadn't even thought about that. In 2 days time it'll be 1 year since I saw them live. I can't believe how much time has passed already
