Haha, I was just rewatching an episode of a Dutch news programme, and they showed a clip of AbFab as a reference to the economic crisis..

I am ABSOLUTELY in love with Joanna Lumley! The best thing to ever come out of the UK as far as I'm concerned!

I've done my homework for today, at least. I lent someone my Catwoman DVD the other day, as she just got herself a new Cyperse kitten. We just chatted about it, and she ended up asking me if she could borrow it for another week, so that she could watch it again.

Hm, don't you find it hard to make the die-hard Avengers fans watch TNA? Because the Peelers were the best know episodes, most people see Emma as the ''one and only'' Avenger girl. (and if you're lucky, they might know or like Tara too, but that's where it usually ends)Timeless A-Peel wrote:I never run into people who are as rampant Anglophiles as I am--why do you think I'm here?
Oh, I know how it feels. ''Joanne- WHO?'' Never mind.
Speaking of no one knowing who you're talking about--imagine you're a teenager, and your first onscreen crush is a guy wearing flares in a seventies action series. All your peers are in love with Orlando Bloom. Makes things difficult I can tell you.

Diana made a big impact with Mother Love (which I recommended highly, if you can get a copy), but everyone still knows her from The Avengers. Joanna has had so many hits since The New Avengers. I can't remember when I saw Diana on TV last - I think it was The Paul O'Grady Show.
