I'm trying to write a Sam/Annie later in their relationship realistically, and it's a bit tough, but I'm trying. And I've still got Purdey and Gambit in there, don't worry.

I'm sure you'll do brilliantly.
Can't wait to see how exactly Sam and Annie's relationship has progressed, and of course how Purdey and Gambit fit into the story
You should have a vague idea of Sam and Annie's relationship problems with that last bit I just posted, but how it influences Purdey and Gambit's relationship...well, that's another matter.

Philippa wrote:Aw, I liked that conversation between Purdey and Annie

Epic win, definitely.

Agreed - we all know where Joanna's qualities lie after all, don't we?

Timeless A-Peel wrote:Definitely. Poor Gambit--can you imagine him with a Patsy on his hands? He'd never be the same.

Haha! Sure he has his ways with women, but I doubt if he could handle her. I love Pats, she's the ultimate bad comedy character in so many ways.

Philippa wrote:My thoughts exactly! Pats would eat him alive, since she pretty much shags everything that has a pulse

Timeless A-Peel wrote:It would be extra-funny because Purdey was always spurning Gambit, so to see Patsy practically jumping on Gareth as he tried to get away would be hilarious because it'd turn the tables.p

I can't totally picture that somehow. Sensitive Skin watchers will remember that the pick of James Lance as Davina's son was an underlying joke, as he had played Saffy's boyfriend in AbFab earlier, the underage boy Pats passionately chased.
How is casting James Lance in any way related to an in-joke about Gareth?

The joy of insider's jokes, sorry sweetie, I'm a walking AbFab encyclopedia and I keep relating things to one other.

Sneaking people from one Jo related show into another. The joy of insider's jokes, sorry sweetie, I'm a walking AbFab encyclopedia and I keep relating things to one other.

I'm sorry to bother you with this, but could you repost the link to In Custody please? There are so many pages to this topic, it's hard to find back the links.
