Media Section

i'm trying to change the settings of the media section, so only active members can have access. but i haven't really figured out how to do this, so i'm just mucking about with the admin panel at the moment. if your media section has disappeared all of a sudden, please let me know, so i can change it back again

well i figured it out. active members now have access to the media section. for everyone who doesn't have access, i'd say: start posting

Yep im very new i joined about ten mins ago, this is my 2nd post. I cant see the media section yet. Any idea on how i can view this please :laugh:

well you have to be an active member to get access to the media section. so i'd say, just linger around for a while, make a few posts, and you'll be in in no time

no let me explain again.
you have to be an active member, which means participating in conversations etc. mainly just post
and then me or lauren, the other admin, decides whether you're active enough, and then you get added to a list of people who have access to the media section.
and then you'll be able to see it
it's not that if you login 50 times for example that the media section just suddenly appears

Do you need to have a certain amout of posts before you can enter?

Don't get me wrong, I just got here, and I'm very much 'exploring' the forum right now. I wast just wondering, because some forums do have a required amount of posts.

Philippa, Lauren, and Tilda decide whether you're active enough in the forum to have access. It's not really a matter of how many posts you've got.
You'll be in soon enough I'm sure :wink:
