I had the nicest dream tonight. And I'm actually glad I woke up at 5:34 am cos if I hadn't, I wouldn't remember it. I dreamt of Joanna visiting me (might have been Purdey, too - the age was right but she wasn't quite behaving like that). And had a great time showing off New Avengers stuff that, if it really existed, I'd probably kill to get. *lol* (There was that bunch of German (!!) TNA-stories with pretty nice drawings that I'd obviously snatched from Stern magazine - they never had such a thing, of course.) Joanna was duly impressed and later, when we left my room, fell absolutely in love with my sister's pet rabbit Ferdi. Of course, she had to take him and cuddle him and of course, he kept escaping.

She soon left, after that (we had left my room so I could take her to the door cos she was leaving anyways). And I woke up, going "Whoa, I gotta rmember this! Best dream ever!" In fact, the only dreams I like more are those where I'm "given" an idea for a story.

Really, it was such a nice dream and I had such a good time, I half feel like writing to her and thanking her for that nice visit. Which of course would make her go "Whoa, that girl's crazy - I've never seen her!" *lol*

Yeah, and now I'm posting this here so I won't forget anytime soon. *sigh* Really, what a great dream!

Haha, sounds like a great dream Khell! It's not at all weird for me to dream about Joanna or other people I'm interested in: I've dreamt about her quite a a lot actually, usually too odd however. I usually dream I'm meeting her somewhere, and we chat about everything she's done while drinking a cup of tea or coffee - ah, sweet dreams!

That's a great dream Khell :d
I've had dreams about Joanna too. Usually just something like Maartje just described, but one time I had a dream that I was her PA ahahaha. That was so fabulous

My night out was great too. I came home at 5 am so I'm still pretty tired. And I had a little bit too much to drink, so I'm feeling a bit icky at the moment, which usually doesn't happen to me. But I had a fab time. One of my colleagues is going to Italy for 3 months, so this was sort of a goodbye party, and we all had a great time so it was all worth it

I'm glad it was just a dream. I know my English is good but I tend to get terribly tongue-tied when I'm in the presence of one of "my" stars. To this day, I can't remember what I told Craig Parker (who played Haldir in Lord of the Rings and is another of my favourites) when I had him on the phone.

I called a friend of mine about a LotR-convention we were both going to. To fix a time for meeting at Munich Central station. It was the weekend before said convention. Well, she happened to be at Manchester, at another LotR-convention. Having lunch with Craig Parker. There had been a charity auction and he'd auctioned off two tickets for "Lunch with Craig". I told her - jokingly - to greet him from me. And all I hear is "Just a sec." and next thing I know is I'm talking to this English-speaking guy and telling him god knows what. As I said, I can't remember. We talked for a few minutes and then, he rang off. And I stood there, being very grateful I'd just returned from New Zealand a week or so ago and thus, was so much into English that I didn't really have to know WHAT I was saying ... *lol*

Needless to say I still got that mobile phone I used for that call and that I'll never EVER throw it away! Hey, it's my "Craig-phone"!

Wow that's an amazing story! If I'd be on the phone with someone I admired, I don't think I'd be able to utter a single word

That's awesome! I pretty much never have TNA related dreams. Well, I have the collectable stuff. Yes, I dream about finding all this rare stuff that was never made, of course, usually cheap and more or less abandoned by the store owner. I'm just ecstatic, and then I wake up and have a brief mourning period for all the awesome stuff I don't get to have. Never have dreams about Joanna herself, though. Lucky you. :great:

(And I never know what to say to celebrities I like, either. I think I todl Don Rosa I loved his work when I shook his hand, but I was so shy it came out super-quiet, and I don't know if he heard me. I got his autograph and a sketch and a few pictures with him though, so I can't be too sad!)

So, I just had the strangest dream.

I can't remember exactly what Joanna was, but she was some kind of doctor or college professor or something...something very professional...anyway, and I was her patient or student or whatever and we were realllllly close. So one day, she doesn't want to go in the elevator with me and wants me to take the stairs and she was acting all weird. So she was coming out of the elevator just as I reached the bottom of the stairs and I ran up to her trying to figure out what was going on. I'm not sure how it happened but I realized that she had pot on her...stashed inside of a wrapped fortune cookie! So we are both freaking out while doing our best to look normal because there are police outside looking for whoever has the pot on them. We start walking passed a few people and no one stops us and we start thinking we are going to get out of there without getting caught. They start to come after us though and we are standing there in the dark and we don't know what to do so I take it from her and I throw it as far away from us as I can. Well, they hold us there and it doesn't take long for them to find it. So they take spray some stuff on Joanna's hand and they can see that she has been holding the fortune cookie wrapper and they arrest her. Then they spray it on me but for some reason forget that they did so I'm standing there trying to get rid of the bright green numbers that came up on my hand so that they will think that I'd never touched it. When the numbers were almost completely invisible, the dream ended.

I know I dreamed this though because I had just watched the episode of Sensitive Skin where their nephew Michael comes over and they all smoke pot together. (btw, I've watched both series once - loved it - and as soon as I finish watching them a second time, I'll let you know what I think in the SS threads  )
