I'm sure, though, that she has heard of April Ashley so that may very well be where she got the idea.

They did another ''dream scene'' in the Gay special, so it's most likely to be true. I have no clue if it's a reference to anything, but Jennifer herself has a wicked sense of humor at times, so it could very well have been her own idea.
