Can't make it out, either, but I've seen that actual picture of Jamie close-up before. He was a cute little kid. I hope he played nice with little Gareth.

Oh, there are some gorgeous shots of Gareth on Gerry Images! (Hint, hint :brows: )

I'm sorry I may be in a confused state at the moment,
but that hair-do is awful,
As much as I like Joanna,
It's not her best look ever, she experimented loads with her hair, I've noticed.
But her son in the pictures are Really Sweet,

Now that all makes more sense than my last post,
Don't know what happened with that one

Perms were in in the 70's and 80's. I may have even had one! Alex Drake certainly did.

That crotcheting, wasn't it the same material she was working on sitting around the set of OHMSS?

Haha! You're right though, it was the fashion, but I think it's the colour of her hair that really makes it look awful. She's literally tried every possible hairstyle, but I'm so glad she decided to finally stick with blonde look now.

Alex's perm was bad. Ray's was worse! :lmao: I didn't say I loved all seventies trends. (But the suits and boots I do.)

Joanna did knit a blanket for Jamie on OHMSS. I've found my article, and she's knitting a bedspread apparently. Erm, not my colour combo. Gene might like it, though. Apparently she knitted a lot for friends--shawls and blankets.

Is this any better? I think it is a print of three cats around a dish of milk.

Timeless, slap me if I'm being too pedantic, but Jo is crocheting not knitting - she's only using one needle (actually a crochet hook). My nan crocheted and she would get cross if I asked what she was "knitting"! :zip:

Please tell me you're joking--Alex's perm was terrible! I'm so glad she got a new hairdo for season 2--it flatters her so much better. But I'm not really a fan of perms--I've yet to see one I thought looked good.

Well, excuuuuse me. Well, it does say "crochet" in the article, so I stand corrected. The bedspread she's actually sitting on is the one from the OHMSS set. Too bad she never knitted anything for Diana, eh?

Agreed, her series 2 hair was better, but I thought the perm suited her. It was nice.
I like her series 3 hair too (seen a few on-set pictures, no spoilers though because I want to stay spoiler free). Though the series 3 hair is more Keeley and less Alex in my opinion, but still nice.

As for Joanna's perm, not a good look
But she can still pull it off for some reason.

Season 2 was a huge improvement. I'll wait to see what she does in season 3 (thanks for not spoilering, Philippa! ). Sorry, but I just didn't think the perm suited her.

I don't want to see/read any spoilers either. But a few pictures didn't hurt. All I know is Alex's hairdo for series 3, and it's really nice and very different

We'll have a spoiler-free zone/pact here, how 'bout? I really want to keep the finale a surprise--I sort of had a hint of an idea of what happened at the end of season 2 from various sources, but I'm going to be good and try not to succumb to the temptation. I managed it with the LoM finale. I must be strong!

Oh yes, it definitely has to be a surprise. I don't want to know anything beforehand.

That's because she can get away with everything, really.

I personally love the B&W photographs:

I think these are the best modelling pictures of her I've seen so far. These could easily have been spreads for Glamour or maybe even Vogue. Love it.

Damn! I did upload them to imageshack.us and I was sure I'd copied the right links, but I seem to be having a lot of trouble with that website lately...

Should be fixed now.
